15.2.26 Seedlings

My little nursery now:

The germinants are grown in small pots, and after they develop some leaves, I tranfer them to 250 ml jars. I am hoping for a warmer weather to come soon; so that the bigger growers can go outdoors, leaving the space for the next seedlings, that will germinate later.

So, I guess now this must be about 1/5 to 1/6 of the expected totall number of seedlings for this year; I think that most of them will germinate in march-april.

These two seedlings have a distinct difference in the foliage:

Penny Lane x Paula Vapelle and Arethusa x R. helenae.

I am especially interested in the first one, and when I examine the leaves, I see that they are very rounded and rather small. It means that is indeed must originate from Paula Vapelle, which makes it to be a complex hybrid. I am thrilled to see its first blooms.
